Yes, some would say this is HIGHLY stalker-like. But well, you have control over what you do (and DON’T) share. The point of Facebook (and social media in general) is to CONNECT and LEARN. As Internet users, we have PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY for what WE make available and put out there.
Isn’t that an amazing concept? Personal responsibility.
I see it as sort of like being ticked off if someone sees you cheating on your significant other & tells someone else and it gets back to your significant other. Are you really ticked off at the person who “told on you”, or are you ticked at yourself because you got “caught” doing something you probably shouldn’t have been doing in the first place?
It basically boils down to this: if you aren’t comfortable with EVERYONE knowing, don’t put it ANYWHERE online that is “social”…even email & texting is somewhat of a gray area.
